Wisephone Service Plans
Can I use Wisephone II with my own carrier service plan?
Yes! Wisephone II is unlocked, see if your carrier is compatible HERE.
Note: WiseOS subscription is needed to unlock base tools.
Will the Wisephone carrier plan take the place of my existing carrier plan?
Yes, the wisephone service plan will take the place of your existing carrier plan. The WiseOS subscription is included in all three service plans.
Note: If you plan to keep your phone number, please don't cancel your current plan until you successfully transfer your phone number.
What carrier network is being used for the Wisephone Plans?
Service will operate on the 4G LTE & 5G networks, powered by one of the three major carriers towers and managed by Wisephone.
Does each Wisephone require a WiseOS Subscription?
Yes. Every phone needs a WiseOS subscription to use key tools and features. This subscription enables the Wisephone experience, providing software updates, security features, access to the new portal, a curated Tool Drawer, and functionality enhancements for your Wisephone.
Will the WiseOS Subscription give me full access?
It’s up to you! You can opt for just the default Tools or choose to have the additional features turned on such as the Tool Drawer or Mobile Hotspot as well. You or your account manager can choose what features are turned on.

How and when do I set up my plan?
Do the monthly plans include phone payments?
The monthly plan for Wisephone II does not include phone payments. You will need to purchase the phone upfront.
Do your plans come with a new phone number?
Yes, you will have the option to receive a new phone number if you want one.
Note: We do not offer a custom selection of numbers. They are assigned according to your ZIP code.
Can I keep my current phone number with your plans?
Yes! There will be an easy way to transfer your phone number from your existing carrier through our dashboard at setup.
Note: Keep your service live with your existing provider until the number transfer is complete. Steps will be provided upon delivery.
Can I change to a different plan down the road?
If you start out on a plan and decide to change later on, then you certainly can - there are no contracts involved. You have the ability to update your plan within the dashboard, but the change will not take effect until the next billing cycle.
Does the Minimalist plan include sufficient data for using Maps?
Yes! You will have plenty of data for normal Map use. If you plan to use Maps more frequently, like all day for a job, then upgrading to the Healthy plan might be the better option.
Note: Data top-ups available for $5 per 1GB.
Does your service support international calls, texts, or roaming?
Wisephone service allows for roaing in Canada and Mexico. If you bring your own carrier with an international plan, your service can likely to function abroad via international roaming.
Note: We do not ship internationally at this time.
Why do you need data if theres no internet browser?
Wisephone utilizes data for several functions, including Updates, Maps, sending MMS messages, and approved third-party apps. While there's no internet browsing apps, these features still require data usage to function effectively.
Why do some plans have more data?
The Healthy & Pro plans offer extra data to support the Tool Drawer apps, as well as the Mobile Hotspot feature.
Can I still use the Mobile hotspot on the Minimal or Healthy plan?
The mobile hotspot feature is available only if you bring your own carrier with a plan that supports it, or if you select our Unlimited Pro plan.
Is there a family plan if I buy more than one phone?
Not at the moment, however, family plans are still being considered for future offerings.
Will your service work with other devices?
Yes, as long as your device is compatible. Many devices use eSIM technology, but Wisephone requires a physical SIM card. This complicates switching, and our service should only be used on one device.
